We use topical drops to obtain your intra-ocular pressures. This is considered the standard for proper measuring, and we do not use the air-puff method due to its inaccuracy. Most chain stores use the air-puff technique because a technician is allowed to test you this way instead of the doctor.
Yes. We routinely dilate all adults especially patients with diabetes or patients with stronger prescriptions. It is part of our routine eye examination, and it can be rescheduled for a later visit at no charge at the patient’s request.
